She'll be ugly. Key will be B's getting to Lundquist, will be tough. - Double_A
That will be this teams achilles heel this series. They had a tough time scoring on Reimer towards the end of the series and he isn't close to the goalie Lundquist is. Tuukka is going to need more goal support in order for the Bruins to beat the Rangers. If they find themselves in early holes against the Rangers, it will be extremely difficult to dig themselves out of it. If they were facing a Price, Lundquist, or Anderson last night, no way they would have had that comeback. |

i'm hoping that hagelin's, kreider's, zuccarello's, and dorsett's speed will help out the rangers. |

I think the speed of those players and the fact the Bruins D corps is going to be pretty banged up, will cause problems for them. The Bruins just need to be aggressive on the forecheck and really pressure the Rangers defenseman into turnovers. Going to be a tough physical series where timely scoring will be the difference. |

I have no worries about the Bergy line, they got their chances, just didn't get the bounces (until last night ), and I hope the Krejci line can carry over. The biggest thing will be what they can get out of L3, they'll need the muckers to chip in and at least drive some possession, Peverley and Kelly just haven't been cutting it and to be completely honest I wasn't impressed with Jagr in those 7 games. A whole lot of hanging on to the puck too long with his ass to the middle of the rink while creating very little in the way of quality chances. |

Bart and Dougie being forced into action might be a blessing when it comes to handling speedy forwards. Need Seids back though. |

so are you guys really confident, moderately confident, or nervous? - rangerdanger94
After last night, who knows anymore. I like the way Rangers play, thought they were destined to be in the finals last season. Obviously I am hoping the Bruins win, but hard for me to bet against Lundqvist....ever.
Other than last night seems like the Rangers had trouble scoring? I only got to see maybe two games of their series. |

rangers scored 4 goals in both games 3 and 4, and 5 last night. but honestly, with the rangers, some games the bounces go our way and other games they don't. when they do, we score 4+, when they don't, we only get 0-2. |

Seidenbergs health will be key for this series. If he can stay healthy you can roll
Chara/Boychuck
Seidenberg/Hamilton
McQuaid/Bartkowski
That is a pretty solid group and should do fine against the Rangers forwards. I agree that the 3rd line needs to be more of a threat. Jagr is playing hun hockey and it just isn't working. I think Soderberg should be thrown into the mix, maybe sit Thornton and drop peverely to the 4th line. |

All in the intangibles. 2 teams match up so well and both teams have excellent goalies.
Its all about who decides to step up, if the injuries keep up though B's might be in biog trouble. The leafs played them really tough |

Between these 2 teams, I'll take the under every time What's the history like the last 12 games have been max 2-1 or something? If we can have 7 games like what I considered to be the most entertaining game from last season (Rangers OT win) it'll be great entertainment. |

the return of clowe and (hopefully but probably not) staal are huge for the rangers.

i was at that game. af got a 5 min boarding call so it was 4-3 for the entire ot. poor tuukka lost it in the last 10 seconds. i see a bunch of similar ot games between these two so break out the tequila. |
