No, you can't. You are right. We can't give you many power play opportunities either. Neal was a moron tonight. - Oneonta Penguin
to be fair, a lot were of the ticky tack variety |

Rags offense is a joke. Nash is the most overrated player in my mind in the NHL this year outside of Carey Price. - Oneonta Penguin
nash is a great player......if you're looking for an overrated player on that team, it begins and ends with brad richards. |

To me in some ways Ottawa was being too careful. |

i found a lot of the calls (both ways) were ticky tack, and they seemed to let a lot of actual penalties go (again, both ways) |

Nash didn't do jack poop this year. Richards sucked too.

Agreed, which totally confused me. I hope that the refs are less active all around next game. |

It doesn't matter if they might have been careful. You can't give that team that many opportunities. The penalty kill has been nails thus far though.

Nash along with Hank carried them the last stretch of the reg season. But Richards....yeah, he has been a dumpster fire |

44 gp 21 goals 21 assists +16. That's pretty good |

he had 21 goals and 42 pts........considering his first 10 or so games NY were bad, i'd say he did pretty well.
i'm not saying he's the best player in the league, definitely overpaid, but he's a great hockey player. |

Nash is an above average player not a star as many make him out to be. Richards is plain garbage. Stepan is a good developing player but, again just a second line center. Only forward I would want besides Stepan is Callahan for his heart |

Honestly I don't want to hear another word about Flower vs Vokoun. 92 is perfect for this team.
29 needs to be learning a lesson. |

Way too much fanfare relative to the way he played. If I recall, most of those points came in a 12-game stretch.

I've watched a lot of Rags game this year and Nash has to be the softest big guy I've ever seen. A guy like TK could knock him off the puck. Richards was plain brutal....I'm confident they buy his ass out.
However, the Rags after the deadline have played much better. Those guys from the Jackets have done well and played hard. |

You need to focus on game 2. Either make it a series or you will get swept. |

Callahan is the top Rag forward I'd take and its not close.

He would be the best player on a lot of NHL teams. He is an annual 35 goal scorer who hits and kills penalties. If he ever got to play on a good team he would be even better. He's a star player |

Speaking of buyouts ... someone the other day on XM radio brought up a great idea. Give Quebec its team, but tell them they can only sign people that were bought out by their respective teams. That lineup could be pretty interesting when you see the names floating around.

And he was on pace for a 40 goal 80 pt full season in New York. |
