You know, I really honestly gave it a try (the movie). I really tried to get into it, but I couldn't. The girl has 3 facial expressions: indifferent (frown), turned on (slightly less of a frown), and upset (more of a frown). The guy (Cedric Diggory) has a looking of seething hatred on his face no matter what he's saying/feeling. The plot was boring, the acting was substandard, and I really didn't get what the take-home message was, other than vampires don't eat people. It left me very confused.

Saskatoon makes it in automatically because they're the host. I'm assuming this happens with the host team every year (yes/no?)...anyway, my real question is what would have happened if Saskatoon won their league? Would it only be a 3-team tourney?

Addressed that near end of blog. Right now, it's still a stretch to say Gustafsson is the heir apparent to Timonen but he definitely looks capable of staking down a full-time starting job.

If he stays healthy, I have little doubt he can be a top six defenseman for the Flyers. I'm not sold on top 4, although that would be stellar.

Yup, as long as the NHL has a game that day even if it's not going to interfere with the Memorial Cup they won't show it live only a replay of it the following day.

I'd settle if they just replayed it that night if there's a playoff game at 7 and none at 10 and they needed the channel. They have three channels, can there even be three games on at one time at this point?

I've been annoyed that NBCSports will only show the U.S. games at worlds until now. Now they'll show all the quarters, I think.

Nope it will be the next day, I'll be looking for a free feed to pass around since most will not sign up for hockey streams.
