He's pretty much a better version of Bozak. - MapleLeafsFTW
Id rather stastny over bozak I know Thorton would make a big compliment but his age is a factor as well now |

Mike Richards would of been perfect but remember we would of had to trade kadri+ for him when he had the chance - Mapleleafs_91
Yeah, it was Kadri and Kulemin if memory serves correctly. I remember hearing that Burke asked for some time to think on it and L.A. swooped in with a better offer. Not sure how true that is, but i's believable |

Well kind of a good thing we kept both? Kadri and Kulemin have done pretty well |

maybe hes not the type of player I want as a #1 center.
as I mentioned yesterday, Mike Richards would be one of my top choices, ROR would be good also. Both not being available of course |

Dreger said that Thornton may be the big name that moves this summer, like how Rick Nash did. Not out of distaste for his current team, but for contract reasons. I believe he said that during TradeCentre. |

Honestly if its a Thorton deal to Toronto
or something like a Erik Johnson(big right handed defender we need)+ Stastny deal to Toronto id like that |

Kessel and Lupul can hit 90+ points each playing together if Lupul can play a full 82. I don't think there's a centre that can push them higher than that who would be worth the price to get him. |

Statsny>ROR in my opinion, Mike Richards would have been very good. But I see Statsny as a practical and realistic possibility. |

So reimer had a great playoff but then sort of drop the ball with the rest of the team game 7. He has the weirdest consistency I ve seen plays like an all star then can't catch the puck wtf. What do you think the plan going forward is? |

johnson + stastny would cost a lot simply because sherman gave up way too much to get johnson in the first place |

Give him a tube of tennis balls and not let him leave the garage until he can catch them all! |

I'd rather O'Rielly too, but imagine Bowen trying to call a powerplay in a few years with him and Rielly? it'd be a disaster. |
