We should play a game of Last Leaf fan standing.....pick a word we're not allowed to say and if we do, you get to ban us. Winner (last fan standing) gets to be the mod that replaces Juice!

or you can just bug Howard, problem solved.

Train rebound reimer to catch a puck and understand what rebound control is. Basic goaltending.
Trade bozaks rights
Trade kulemin
Resign franson long term
Move some prospects and players for a top 3 dman if possible
Take a run at joe or Marceau if available

- Fakepartofme

Marcel Marceau? He is a little quiet for my liking.

I think we're going to find out in a few days that Reimer had a broken finger.
We all know he's weak on his glove side, but even in his first two seasons, he never had an issue catching and holding onto a puck, till later in this series.

I also think the puck Phaneuf took off his knee did more damage than was told.

Thought Big Joe would be a nice addition. Big centre, veteran, hasn't won a lot but I think he's still quality.

Thornton
Kadri
Colborne
McClement

That'd be a pretty good set down the middle. The only thing is, If I'm not mistaken, Bozak and Kessel are good pals, is keeping Bozak imperative to convinving Kessel to re-up?

Agree, I don't expect great things from him, but he's solid 2-way and is at a good price.

winning percentage of teams leading by three goals in the third period of a Game 7 was 98.4% and that not one of 865 teams in NHL history since the league’s inception in 1918 had relinquished a two goal lead with less than 90 seconds remaining.

this is just amazing....

i mean if you took 5 of us here and gave us some skates and sticks.. we could probably hold onto the lead for 90 seconds

the odds of that happening is so astronomical....and i sat in my living room watching it all happen and am still in a fog

While normally he's awkward looking when he skates, he literally had no mobility after that shot off his knee. He'd use his upper body in battles but was missing a step with and without the puck.

Get over your Reimer hate, buddy.

The guy single handedly carried this team to game 7. He was on par with Rask all series.

Have you considered why it was so critical to control the rebounds? The team couldn't win a single draw after Boston scored the 4-2 goal.

What's the point of stopping the play if Boston is just going to get a breather, win the draw cleanly, then proceed to fire away at will from the blue line?

Agreed. Don't move him. If anything we need one of him for each line. There's more to hockey than putting up points.

Obviously this is obvious but a veteran centre would be really (frank)ing nice

I don't really see the need to move Bozak immediately if we can get him for a fair price, but between him and Grabo we may have one too many

I think Reimer is a #1.....but either he's got a hurt hand, or he needs to get a new glove that's not as stiff.
