I've come to realize you will not win with Grabovski in the lineup, cap space is better spent elsewhere. |

I'm considering trading our 3rd line for a 1st line center. Not sure who though. |

One compliance buyout in my opinion will be used in 2014 on the player that did not produce well during the season before, both will be shopped beforehand to see if there is any takers. |

GM 101 man.
hahah seriously though, I don't think there's a ton of moves to be made.
While I have a few questions about Reimer, without a doubt he's earned his spot as the number 1 at least for the foreseeable future. Maybe he needs one of those two seamed gloves Weekes was talking about last night.
The core is where we want it to be with good young talent. Perhaps a nice veteran depth forward would go a long way.
I would love a legitimate number 1 power center. But I don't think the answer is to overspend or sell the future for it. If we had to move forward for the time being with some combination of Kadri, Bozie/Grabo, Colbourne, Mcclement. I could live with it, but we could use another top 6 forward.
I think the biggest immediate need is a solid top pairing shut down D to play with Dion and take some pressure off of him. And to switch from Phaneuf Qb'ing the powerplay to Gardiner or just anyone who can skate and shows some urgency on the PP. |

I don't think both compliance buyouts will be used this year, unless there is a signing or trade that makes it necessary, which I doubt. |

so u wanna buyout grabovski, replace him with bozak at 4.5-5 mil
bozak-kadri-colborne-mcclement as our centers.
i still think its a latteral move, but to each their own.
a bad 48 game season and 3 consistent productive seasons = the door.
i dunno about that...grabo was also sick for the passed 1.5 years, which has been being treated last month or so. |

I know you love Grabo but he is a ragdoll out there, I think they give him one more year, then a decision will be made. |
