Sweden won, but the effort from both Sedin's was weak. |

He's been more of a playmaker early in his career. But he's shooting more, and finding a better balance. He's a definite first line Winger. Along with Hartnell. The Flyers have a quality first line. If that's the lineup. - MJL
If we had a true sniper on either wing I could live with either h or v moving down to 2nd line and be confident h or v could put up same stats as they do on 1st line. But yeah v gAme is trending upward nicely. Like to see him play down low A little more on the pp too. Maybe if we get a pp qb he can slide around a little |

Not watching it at the moment, but Barkann has been beating Bryz like a rented mule the last couple weeks. Everything is Bryz's fault, the Flyers missing the playoffs, the Phillies having no pitching, global warming.. you name it, its all on Bryz.

May be hard. His shooting % jumped up about 8 points this season. I think 25-30 is a better expectation, and I'd be okay with that. - jmatchett383
He put up 22 in 48 games... to score 30 he would've had to score 8 goals in 38 games, he'd have to have had an abysmal slump to even reach your top expectation |

Buyout. I don't see the Flyers wanting to keep him around for the length of that contract. |

Probably not happening. The suits at Comcast arent likely to swallow that kind of financial hit.

Comcast has plenty of cash. Not even an issue.
Plus that money is spread out. |

Snider is notorious for throwing around money. If he was able to get the money to sign Bryz to his contract to begin with, he can get the money to buy Bryz out of it. I think Bryz still has trade value though, so I don't see why we would have to. |

Snider doesn't have a blank check book. There is a big difference between paying a player millions to play for your team. Versus paying him millions to not play for your team.

Voracek was in the top 10 in goal scoring this past Season. Hartnell was in the top 10 the Season before.

Very true. Still think the Flyers will move on. Can't afford to pay all that money for a goalie who has been average at best since being here.
The Flyers could use his cap space to fill other needs. I prefer they go with a younger goalie like Mason who can grow with the team. Mason may or may not be the answer but Bryz doesn't seem like it either based on his two years. |

There is a next Season. We'll see what happens. I believe that a few things have to happen. One is Bryzgalov simply has to play better. But I believe the team and the Coach need to do just as much to make that happen. They have to be better at ES and better defensively. If they are, and the results are still not there. Then I'll be ready to move on. But not yet. We'll see what the Flyers decide.

Looks like Breeze will be here at least one more season, though lately, it looks like he's trying hard to talk himself out of the city. It's too risky at this time to hand Mason the number 1.
The UFA goaltending class isn't that impressive so they'll have to pick a capable one up in a trade which would only further deplete their depth (Emery and Mason doesn't really excite me too much) unless they can sign one cheaply off a buyout. |

yep. 4 goals is a shelling. (frank)ing asshats. and i'd wager that if he had a shutout there would be nary a mention of his performance. |
