amusing to me that jagr, who was the 3rd man high on the oddman rush for the GWG curled into the right corner completely opposite of the direction the celebration. |

No it doesn't. The Compliance buyout is put in as a transition rule to help teams deal with the artificially lowered Upper Limit for next Season. And there is a limit of two per team for the life of the CBA. And is limited to the first two years. - MJL
My ridiculous point is it wouldn't be circumventing if it was agreed upon by both sides that there would be two reconstructions per team allowed in the next two years. Since it wasn't, again, it's moot.
My other point was that there are always casualties with every new CBA. Briere just happens to be one this time. Shame. |

yea i don't really have any legitimate gripes with him as an individual. i just think that blindly hating any ranger, or penguin, or devil is perfectly acceptable |

Yeah, it really does. I want the Hawks firing on all cylinders because it looks like the Kings are. |

not me. some of these players, as soon as they take that other jersey off they are fine in my eyes. if they put a flyers jersey on? i'll have no problem rooting for them. particularly if they play well, obviously |

eh, definitely a dramatic take on the situation. no one ever thought that richards and carter were bad players [...knuckle-draggers aside]. why should we be surprised that they are succeeding? and when you trade established talent for young potential a bit of a developmental curve should be expected |
