Not to change the subject, as maybe this is too serious for Hockeybuzz. But I need to vent. Why does a School, right in the middle of Tornado Alley in Oklahoma. Not have an under ground fortified tornado shelter built into it? Maybe that makes too much sense. As many as 45 kids are unaccounted for and possibly buried under the rubble. Very angry. - MJL

Do you think it is telling at all that Lndn decided to go back with Stolarz? Or am I reading too much into it? - GirouxForTheShow
It's likely the level of play but Jones has been beat with little problems when players take him wide. Footwork to transition his coverage is slow through 1 game and 1 period.

That's a big key for all bigger young defenseman, reading the speed of the play and the transition of skating backwards yet having the right body position to make a play. Lauridson has to work on his footwork as well as his puck control.

Very likely, it will come with time. I'll say it again whomever takes Jones would probably benefit by keeping in him juniors 1 more year but that's highly unlikely.

The seasoning would help a lot. - ob18
Depending on what COL thinks of their team this year, but I'd be hard pressed to believe he won't be in their opening day lineup. I think all defenseman regardless of draft position could use another year in their developmental programs.

I think he will be in the NHL right away too, that's just a thought to help him develop more to be more of a help when he steps in right away
