What you guys need are players who will be effective and not command 5mil+ in salaries. It's going to be very difficult to keep all of your young core together if you keep bringing in good young talent. That's why I said before I think Edmonton will drop this year.

you guys have plenty of top end talent up front, you need to build your back end. you finally have a chance to land a future stud on d, how could they turn that down? i'm basing this on needs base, not best available.

lol yea they do, but most important thing is a future #1 center. if you dont have one of those in the playoffs its over. even with the leafs doing so good this year, the playoffs aren't guaranteed because of our center situation.
