Your goalie is better, that's for sure. Posts have helped too but you make your own luck. - John Jaeckel
Like Charlie Conway once said...'quarter inch the other way and you would've missed completely'. |

That's why guys like burrish and carcillo have traditionally been playoff scratches. (Granted Shaw is more talented than both of them- but not by THAT wide of a margin) - moylander
1/2 the time Shaw has DONE NOTHING to warrant a call.

Not a big fan of Crawford, but if Kane scores that goal, we're all marvelling at the shot. It was what it was--and Datsuyk is an incredible player. |

Anyone else really really pissed at Q ? Why was Stalberg on the bench ? - mrpaulish
Because he had the balls to tell him he had double standards behind closed doors. Which, as has been pointed out multiple times, stuff like this happens ALL THE TIME! Bit oz decided to prove a point at the worst time possible |

Getting worked over while down doesn't deserve a magical slashing penalty on Shaw? Instead of a tie game, it's 3-1. Crawford again gives up a save able goal when the Hawks were showing some life. What a shame. |

Howard's been helped by the iron all net, but he makes the positional save, doesn't get rattled. Crawford's looked scared the whole game. |

Great another Hawks PP. A complete waste of 2 minutes.

My guess is Crawford gets the net for Game 4. If he doesn't play real well and the Hawks go down 3-1, then you see Emery. The other issue is although Emery is supposedly 100%, is he? |

That much iron tells me the Hawks forwards are playing way to tight. I have serious doubts they can pull out a series win at this point. |

Shaw's one of the few guys that plays physical. If you sit him we've got a team of figure skaters. |

They need to do something to gain some kind of confidence. - fourfeathers
Don't see how they can play Emery now. He hasn't played a single minute, in what, about a month. Not fair to him to expect him to be the savior. Who knows if he's even 100 percent healthy. Hawks pretty much stuck with riding Crawford for better or worse. It would be nice to see the Hawks play with the urgency they are playing with in the third period at the beginning of the game, but I guess that would be asking too much. |

There goes the 60 seconds: can't take a penalty with 5 minutes left in a 2 goal game.
But - Boston is a precedent here.... |

Yeah let's blame this clusterphuk on CC. Bring in Emery to be a basketball backboard to give up infinite juicy rebounds.
Did CC pee in somebody's Cheerios??? |

Hey Paulish...it's a paradox.
Luv the sport and playoff hockey can be the best most entertaining experience for the viewer, but if it's the team I pull for, and the play and results are subpar, it's a stress filled, anxiety laden excercise that shortens my life.
- ArlingtonRob
Yeah, if the Hawks lose this series, this game, with the might've, could'ves, the off-the-post shot by Toews and the breakaway chances by Sharp and Stalberg are going to bother me for a while. Those and the fuqued-up interference call on Shaw.
Razor for game 4?
