I've heard much about the Habs having him pretty high on their list. I'm not an insider or anything, the name just keeps coming up so I really wonder if he's not the plan for one of the picks in the 30's... Will he get that far in though?

Don't think so. Most mock drafts I've seen place him around 20.

Yeah...he's healthy as a horse. It really showed down the stretch and into the playoffs.

personally i think if you can't get into the top 10 then losing all 3 2nd round picks isnt worth it, if Markov a 1st and one fo the 2nds gets you into 6-10 than it could be worth it...maybe, markov and a 1st should be enough though

pretty sure there were alot of struggling teams (PP wise) that dont need to rely on him defensively who would take his 30 points in 48 games, running their PP

While it's true that Gauthier tailed off at the end of the season, it's not like he stopped trying. Being his first year in Major Junior, he was having some struggles adjusting to the length of the seasons here as opposed to his previous league's.
