^^Love that Garf is actually stewing right now and is already plotting a little jab at French in his next blog... - HAMgerber
By "stewing", you must mean tipping a frosty Kettel One and tonic while watching the Memorial Cup finals. I don't give a rat's ass about chirping benders.

With the rest of the draft order tbt (relatively)
Calgary has 3 1st rd picks (6th..the blues (in the 16-20 range) and the pens which is likely going to be 29th or 30th
Columbus has 3 1st rd picks as well at 14th which is their own and then LA and NYR's which will roughly be 29th/30th and 25th ish respectively.
I dont see a team like Calgary packaging these picks to move up because in such a deep draft with a lot of talent, Calgary would be better off with their rebuild by keeping these picks as opposed to trading them away
Columbus on the other hand is VERY close to being a playoff team year in and year out and given that they are moving to the much easier "Eastern" conference next year, this puts them in a good spot to package these picks to get inside the top 4 or 5 to take one of Jones, Drouin, Mack, Barkov, Nichuskin or whoever else they want
It seems as though the consensus is that we all want Buffalo to move up to take one of these guys...but at what cost? To Tampa for their 3rd overall selection: 8th, 16th 55th, Stafford + a mid level prospect such as Adam? Is that even enough? Maybe do they want ennis instead of Staff? IMO the price to move up in this years draft is going to be extremely high
