If Nichushkin goes to Tampa, Drouin is a definite possibility for Nashville. Don't write them off getting him over Barkov. Drouin has better scoring touch and great vision in his own right and he has a good base, making him hard to knock off the puck; Button said as much before the Memorial Cup Final. Colin Wilson was drafted as a center and can still play center. Drouin-Wilson-Forsberg would be just as scary of a line as Wilson-Barkov-Forsberg.

IMO unless you have a bonafide number 1 center, you draft the guy that can be your bonafide number 1 center. Drouin could end up being the better player, but Barkov in NSH is a good fit

Nice read. I see the Sabres trading up for the sexy pick IMO. They have the ammo and I think if McNabb and Pysyk pan out their D is pretty well set. I see us trying to move to 5 to get either Drouin or Mackinnon if they fall.
