there was like 2 mins left, gretzky in the box = he doesnt score.

leafs were going vs montreal that year, win lose or draw it would have been epic.

all i look for is equal reffing, seems leafs do manage to find a way to get screwed over in that spot when it comes to big games.

hell even my red wing buddy couldnt believe how bad it was in game 7, and he's seen 22 years straight of playoffs and said that was the worst officiating in a game 7...thats rich, considering he hates the leafs.

I experienced this first hand in the 2011 finals. At the time, it was chalked up to whining. At this point, I come to expect it.

Dude, when the Flyers lost to the Hawks a few years back, I can't remember any calls the refs made or didn't make that screwed the Flyers (except the winning goal by Kane never went into the net)...

seems those who didnt like the reffing all agree on the same calls, but everyone seems to also be on the same page that the leafs blew it.
