Need to settle it down, make better passes and get some O-zone time. Agree. Only down 1 still lots of time. |

Howard stops a 35 foot shot. Crawford does not. Difference in the series? - eburgio
But it was a knuckler.
RA Richardey must have shot it. |

What's with Chicago? I know it's not over yet, but if they do lose tonight does coach Q get the axe? At least you had a good regular season? - woopstash
It's like the Bears. Lovie Smith asked for a QB....he got Cutler. Wanted a RB....resigned Forte. Wanted a WR...got Marshall. Missed the playoffs by choking and he got axed. Coach Q got everything he asked for this season.

Hawks totally getting outplayed. Wings doing what Hawks should have been doing once they scored. Hawks failed to play two solid games back to back all playoffs. Detroit will hook, hold, clutch and grab their way to the win now. The late goal and two PP's without a goal hurt. I won't mention the bad goal let in by Crawford as I know that is taboo. He's played well for most of the playoffs but needed his best game today. |

Not aware of all the Hawks move, but wouldn't it be tough to fire him after the season they had? I guess that also might make it easier to fire him.
Hawks are a good team and I hope they win and we see an LA/Hawks series, but both series could still go either way. |

I can look past Versteeg. I can look past Ladd. I can even look past Byfuglien. But Stanbow should've been run out of town for letting Niemi walk over what ultimately amounted to a couple of hundred k. |

Too simplistic, and we don't know what Q was asking for in April when Bowman only came up with Handzus

4 on 4 - Hawks are supposed to shine - why aren't they?
Just getting outplayed in an elimination game.

Seriously -- he's looked like he's skating at 25% speed. Just sort of floating around. Very disappointing. |

It was bound to happen. Crow isn't a champion, but neither is a good part of the rest of the roster. |

PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
You can see the Hawks have given up. No fight, no push back. No nothing.
You can see it in the Hawks demeanor, the way they carry themselves head down. They look defeated.
If this isn't on Q, then who?
Keep mixing your lines, see what it gets you.
If they fired Q as soon as he exits tonight's handshake line that would be all right by me. He has NEVER beaten Babcock in a playoffs series. |
|
|
|
Sorry Enzo...not a great game by Crow if he lets in 2 softies. Like saying in baseball....great game by the pitcher other than hanging those two fast balls in there to be knocked out of the park and giving the opponent the lead. |

And for the love of Christ please stop shooting pucks from the blue line, guys.
EDIT: As the primary method for shooting, I mean ... Detroit's blocking a ton. |

Agreed. I can't help but think the front office is just looking for a reason to can him. Hopefully whomever is coaching next season will ask for a new goalie? Not saying firing Q wouldn't be justified in some way, but the front office is incompetent as well |
