We traded hunter for Rolston, and Rolston should have been a good vet presence but his attitude sucked

Tim Thomas was purely cap hit and we gave up nothing

He kept him on for 5 seasons, 3 of which we went to the playoffs... just saying

I'm not terribly good at Long Island geography, so I just used "East End" from the post I was replying to.

The reason I was asking is I was just wondering how much it would cost for Nassau and Suffolk County folks who up until now would make a short drive to the game, and in the future will have to take a train.

Because for me, I prefer the public transit route. I'm a Leafs fan, so I will typically drink heavily at hockey games.

Roy is on record saying that he will be the one talking to other GM's about making trades. The so called GM now will make the call and everybody will think he actually made the trade but it sounds like Roy is gonna have a huge say in those matters more so then the GM himself. So I'm gonna stick with what he is saying. I know it sounds crazy but that's what I'm gonna do

They should just play the Chicago/Detroit series over completely with proper officiating. It's been dreadful all around every game I've watched, at key moments taking away or allowing key goals.

Cant believe that goal was waived off. I can only imagine the feeling of satisfaction that the city of Detroit had when they found out it was no goal.

I can't believe it either. That's the worst I've seen this year...dethroning the other one earlier in this same series with that phantom goalie interference call against Chicago that would have tied one of the games. And that bad call came after the other bad call where they allowed a Chicago goal when one of the Wings got textbook boarded right in front of a referee. The refs gotta get it together. They were less prepared for the playoffs than the 2013 Canucks.
