If Avs take Mac with the first overall they will be forced to trade 1 of the 3 top centers. I dont see anyone going after Stastny cause he is an UFA after next year. Everyone will target Duchene. The thing is what would it take to get Duchene out? A really high end winger I think however Landeskog will also be targeted because if a winger is coming into the Avs system 1 has to be going out as well.
So lets throw this up there.

and ether Ehrhoff or Sekera
Avs get much better goaltending and the best player in the NHL in front of the net. Plus a top 4 defensemen. For a very young and good winger, plus a very good center.
Avs are stuck right now if they take Mac because they cannot trade O'Reilly until Feb.
