It was deflected... Oh wait our season's over, no need to debate fault on goal, carry on. |

Did it go off a Wings player skate?
Its amazing that this Det team, which really does not have much at all, was able to take a super talented Hawks team to 7 and OT. All Det does is gain the zone and shoot and hope for a scrum/rebound. Franzen's game in front of the net has really deteriorated in recent years. Earlier he used to be immovable down in the crease.

Good game.
Now let's hope Boston destroys the Pens. After that...meh.
Also, Doc Emrick is such a Bloviating Richardbag. I really (frank)ing hate listening to his "deep and philosophical soliloquies". |

For a second I thought Patrick sharp was the player who scored... It's bad enough he's probably the single worst trade of the franchise but man if he scored that it would've been painful to watch |

Agreed, Jack Edwards I thought was very good on ESPN. I'm not sure what the hell happened now that he is calling Bruins games. |

People will bring up Thorne made a lot of mistakes in pronunciation and had to wait a few seconds after a goal to say who scored but I could deal with it. I don't expect perfection just a voice that fits the sport and an announcer that doesn't try to be the show. I always felt Gary and gene before him filled those characteristics beautifully |

I actually read somewhere the nhlpa rejected having him do games, not sure how true that is but I think it's lame if true |
