Wow! You're definitely in the minority here. If you're a true Homer, you'll go to Vegas and throw down some cash. You'll get some pretty good odds. Good luck!

Good write up JJ. Can see this series going many different ways but I think the Hawks are finally ramping up their play to the next level and will ride that wave of momentum of beating Detroit into this series and win. I think it will take 7 as well. Should be one helluva series. Looking forward to heading to games 1 and 2

"According to Bodog.net, the Penguins are 3/2 to win the championship, ahead of the Chicago Blackhawks at 12/5 and the Los Angeles Kings at 10/3. The Boston Bruins are the longshot of the conference finalists at 9/2."

Someone didn't take his "make thinkie work" pills this morning. Nice troll, Skippy.

First meeting is SOOOOO not the one to look at. If for no other reason than this:

32 J. Quick (L) 17 - 22 .773

Do you really see that happening again?

But can't argue with your call for Hawks in 7. Whoever wins, I see this going 7 also.

You could be right on both counts. Hawks' speed could be the difference.

not to pick on anybody, but i really hate it when people use betting lines to help justify their "picks" of who will win.

the betting line is set up for one thing - to guarantee as much action as possible from both sides. it is very well thought out and is an attempt to get the casinos more money.

i'm not saying that they also don't think the hawks will win, but lets understand what the line REALLY means.

Sure, but that was posted in retort to a lame a$$ comment about the Hawks having worse odds than the Kings, which is not the case.
