Completely outplay them - certainly 60% of the period in LA zone - even face offs almost 50% - and down. |

It's unlikely that they will dominate the play in many more periods like they did that one...very disheartening to come aways from that one trailing.
Can not give up those kind of goals, or it's going to be a short series. |

Yeah, setting good tempo, checking, clearing the D zone nicely. But they better figure out a way to solve Quick. You can't win if you can't score. |

One of the first thing I teach my Mite team in the defensive zone...DONT CLEAR THROUGH THE MIDDLE. Exhibit N on why Bolland is on 4th line

At the game. How bad was that goal? Saw the LA guy make a nice play to keep the puck in, but sitting on the other side of the rink and couldn't tell if it was a soft goal or it hit off someone. |

Attention CC...if you're going to play the puck behind the net, you'd better have an idea of what you're going to do with it. - Ogilthorpe2
And after you've done something, don't just stand there behind the net watching the puck: get back in position. |

That first goal is all Dave Bolland. Yes, Crawford could have made a better play behind the net, but Bolland had control of the puck and instead of going towards the boards or hoisting it out of the zone he tries to pass the puck to Leddy, who is standing still an puts it right on Williams stick for the goal. Two shots on goal and they have a 1-0 lead. You could tell that sucked the life out of the building too. Just a moronic play on his part. But of course, he never misses a shift. If Stalberg or any number of other Hawks make that play, their arse is glued to the end of the bench for the rest of the period. Simply can't give goals away like that in a series where goals are going to come at a premium. |

But that wasn't on Crow. That was Williams with the goal and Bolland with the assist.
EDIT: Retired beat to it. |

Crawford thought he was Turco and his clear behind the net got picked off and sent to the front. Bolland ges it and tries clearing through the middle and gets deflected in by Williams. |

16 f'n SOG by the Hawks, we can't find a way to put one past quick.
2 mf'n SOG by LA, 1 crap one goes in because Crawford f's up handling the puck and Bolland can't f'n figure out where the "no danger" zone is -- puts the puck right in front for an easy score. They just showed the replay again -- regardless of what C2 did, that GA is ALL ON PHUCKING BOLLAND. Can they give that jag the minus for everyone else on the ice with him. He should be a -5 on that play.
And where's Eli - our PP is crap.
No pressure unless Leddy is out there on the point. Pathetic.
And pretty soon I'll have to do an Arlington Rob and turn off the sound on NBCSN and put on Troy Murray. Cannot take the moronic crew they assigned to our game. Pang is such an a-hole. |

I dunno Ogi , the Hawks are that much faster and that much better on D then anyone the Kings have placed this post season , one of our stars , Hossa or Kane has to get one thru on quick. I said the Hawks would out chance the Kins this series 2-1 . The Hawks finishers have to finish. Wouldn't mind seeing Bickell "Lucic" Quick. |

False, but spoken like a former goalie. It's 50/50, they both have to better...much better. |

The called it an unassisted goal but only because they don't give assists to the opposing team's players. Just a dumb play, but not surprised Bolland was involved.

Yeah, but he's wrong. Crawford started the downward spiral with a poopty play of his own...he's far from blameless. |
