The best thing about Canadian is that he always says the right things at the right time.

First goal is so huge. They got frustrated because they could have had 6 in the first 5 minutes and came away with nothing.

Regardless, that's when maturity should be kicking in. Stick with it and keep working, don't get frustrated and start taking bad penalties.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Engo dress tonight. If he could get Chara to drop them that would be great. He might die, but he's not that good and Chara will be off the ice for 5 minutes.

You probably would see Engo trying to pick a fight with Chara but ending up with Thornton instead.

haha

Loved Crankshaft's interview one day after the game. He wanted to say "more stuff" but just held on. You just know he wanted to drop something.

I was reading some comments on youtube and someone called him a "fat dwarf" haha There was one guy from SJ who thanked us for acquiring him and "he just eat hamburgers and drinks beer, he's fat"

We all love Dougie.

Yes he did. Geno isn't short for Genius.

I like that. He needs to not get goaded by the Bruins into taking dumb penalties and that really goes for everyone. Don't let the Bruins get under their skin.

As for the situation with Crosby and Chara if he didn't stand up for himself people would say he's a wuss and now that he did people are calling him a fake tough guy. Basically anything Crosby does his haters will take the other side. We're use to it.

It tells you how little they think of Thiessen as an NHL goaltender. Thiessen led them back from being down 3-0 to Providence, played decent in the first four games of the Syracuse series.

Big game tonight fellas. Predictions:

I say a big game for the Pens tonight.

5-1 they chase Tooka in the second.

Jerome will have a big night.

Jarome NEEDS to have a big night. We prevented these guys from getting him, so he needs to produce against them. 12 71 18 needs to be our best line tonight.

Once again I see it's status quo with lines. They got shut out and nothing changes, 2 on 0 on a PP, nothing changes, stupid penalties out of frustration. Lets say Pens lose tonight, they put in MAF in game 3 in Boston....he will get bombarded. Niskanen looked terrible, he's still in. I'm not taking anything away from Rask, he was excellent, but when you have 87, 71, 18, 12, 14, and 9 on your top 2.....inexcusable to be shutout. Obviously the lines arent working.

C'mon.... Get a grip...

Through two periods, the Pens were carrying the play, outshooting, out hitting and out chancing the Bruins. If one of the 47 post they hit goes in, then that crap at the end of the second and the bad third period likely isn't there.

The lines are fine, the effort was fine... No one expected them to sweep the Bruins, it's only one game.

Letang made a stupid play to cause the shorthanded 2-on-0, but unfortunately with him, it's become obvious that you have to take the bad with the good, because there is usually more good.

The sky is still up, nothing has fallen. It was only one game. If you take the goal posts hit and the chances that the Pens had, they should have won the game. No worry.

Nope. We do not need a hung over guy stumbling around looking for that Big Bear he swears he had last night just before the 300lb hooker sucker punched him after he asked her "You want to come back to my trailer and play rodeo? You can be the cow".
