Really? I HATE his system. They never pick up anyone in the neutral zone, never have a third guy high, let's Letang do whatever he wants. They give up more 3-2's than any team in the playoffs, they run an incredibly passive "zone" defense in their own end, which leads to guys finding pockets and being wide open. If the Hawks played like that I'd freaking hate it - rollpards19
His system ? Appears to have flaws. But the players respect him and Shero would likely give him another year.

Indeed.
You want to talk more about how average Crawford is or isn't? |

Nope. Maybe you want to discuss the merits of Sharp winning the Conn Smythe?

I guess not... |

I'd have to go with Keith, but, let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's hope they can keep the momentum and get one of two in LA. |

I know he's not a "sexy" pick, but Hjalmarsson has really been an unsung hero. |

Run into the ground by too many minutes from Q. Get him down to 23-24 minutes a night like this year, he's fresh enough to be money this time of year. |

Yes he has, and that's why individual awards are so overrated in a team sport. If Bolland doesn't check Nyquist, Seabrook doesn't score in OT and maybe the Wings-Kings series is tied 1-1 at the moment. How valuable is that? How about the Rat for Conn Smythe?

And thus we're stuck with him (and having to try to win in SPITE of him again) for another 3 years. Who COULDN'T win with the teams he's been handed??? - Q...argh
I'd gladly be stuck with a coach with .660 win percentage AND he made some huge adjustments to get us back on track vs Detroit...namely...upping the intensity of our forecheck. Our forwards were pressing Detroit at every turn. That turned the series IMO.

Winston Churchill once said, "There are three types of lies. There are lies, there are damned lies, and then there are statistics." - NewToHockey
Actually the quote was popularized by Twain who claimed he got from another British Prime Minister, Benjamin Disraeli.
Personally, I've never liked the quote much. |

The Rat was that good in 2010. Imagine what the Vancouver or San jose series' would have been like if he didn't totally take out the sedins and Jumbo joe? He did to them what zetterberg did to toews for those 3 games. But bolland did that for the whole series |
