Not to mention noone will trade for fleury. He'll be bought out. The only possible rangers pens deal would be contingent on hank and Letang sink g extensions prior. And Lundqvist taking less than market value to go play with Sid and Geno. If he wants a contract like Rinne it won't be Shero giving it to him. And on the flip side the only way the rangers can trade hank is to get a guy with term and also likely have to say hank east interested in signing in ny ala Jordan staal with the pens. Sather knows he can't just up and trade a guy like him for a 1 year defenseman.

That's a fair deal. But if I'm the Rangers, I ask why I'd move the best goalie in the league and, if the answer is to get a world-class player like Malkin, I ask who my goalie is. I'm not up to date on the Rags' prospects, but as we've seen from this year's playoffs, you need a good, if not great, goalie to be successful. Also, I doubt the Rangers would willingly trade the best (or second best) goalie in the league to a division rival, even for a great player like Malkin.

I actually think getting out of Pittsburgh will do this team some good.

home ice doesn't mean anything in this series like it does in the West. both teams haven't shown that home ice is that vital to them.

penguins will come back. I expect this series to be 2-2 coming back.
