Yep...from 10 feet out and beyond, he has a nice shot. The end result is the guy is a 30+ goal scorer who is also amongst one of the best penalty killers in the league. Personally, I'd extend his contract asap...Xxkeaner17xX - keaner17
Yeap and yep. 100% agree. If he goes these fans that think he sucks bcs he doesn't score on 90% of his breakaways will see just how important he is to this team. Hopefully Capuano has little or no saying in personel decisions. |

I'd love to see him gone but at what cost? Something is brewing with him with that recent goalie signing unless Snow plans on doing the three headed monster routine again which i don't see happening? He'll keep one of Poulin or Nilsson up with Nabby which could mean a possible buyout for DP and thatcap hit maybe invested on a strong stay at home type? Wishful thinking I know but who knows? That's why I keep saying this is a big offseason for Snow and it's going to show a lot of who he is as a GM. I'm not expecting any big trades or signings but this in house stuff is going to define us as a team for a while, especially the DP mess. - Cptmjl

He is looney tunes for signing that JT contract. He's trying to make up for lost cash with Streit - Cptmjl

He was one of our bottom pair guys but wants number 1 d money... ...he's out of his mind - TurkishPancake
He's not... he hits the open market & can get a 4 year 5-6 mill a year contract (and that is VERY possible) He locked himself up very well on his last contract in the NHL. Cant fault the guy.

Grabs needs to work on finishing. He'd be. 70 point player if he had the hands of Ken Baumgartner. - jmo16

Oh ok. It's still filling a position none the less one in which your boy plays . Why pay someone to fill a goalie position and have one of either Poulin or Nilsson come back down + DP. Makes no sense unless we have the three headed monster routine going on again. There are many different ways this can play out and just bcs he is a prospect doesn't discredit my conspiracy theory |

Absolutely not, just happy we are not the team paying him. I also have a hard time seein him getting 6 or even 5+. He may but i just can't see it. That's a legit 2 way Dman salary which Streit is not. I guess anything is possible during FA? I wish him the best and I'm happy we are not that team |

PA has the warmth and energy of a thousand suns. And for that same reason, you cannot stay in his presence for too long. The Isles were forced to either part ways with him, or be consumed by his greatness.

Didnt he score like 20 goals and around 45 points this year? I think overall he is better than Boyes. |

Also throw in the fact that the guy they resigned wasn't even that good with BP last year |

He is way better than Boyes you won't find anyone on here that disagrees with that. Anyone of us would drive Boyes to the airport to make sure he doesn't get resigned. Long standing joke on here, that's all. |

Not if we don't toll the contract. He's a UFA unless we toll it, which we won't unless Nabby falls through
