He has elite offensive ability, but he makes too many mistakes in his own end to justify the kind of commitment he'll get from somebody.

Weber's a far better all around defenseman than Letang. He's also got a monster deal that, with the new cap recapture penalties, I am ecstatic that Nashville matched.

According to you it is and I agree...our opinions don't drive the market up, NHL gms do. They will pay 7 for letang. 7.8 is a steals or weber. I'm sure they ll get more buyouts from the next cba lol

Mike Green was a Norris finalist. The biggest issue is that he has lapses and sometimes makes mind numbingly bad decisions in his own end. Everyone has brain farts, for Letang they happen more than they should with an elite defensemen.

The Pens would like to sign him but they have Crosby and Malkin. Not sure they have the cap space to keep three guys at that price (7M and up).
