Wasting your time.....Vokoun played a near perfect game last night. To think Fleury would have been a part of a different outcome is ridiculous. Some people equate blind loyalty to being a fan. It is like a parent who wont believe their kid did something wrong even when showed surveillance footage of said kid shoplifting/fighting/etc. - Rawdog9755
I was really surprised when I heard the Penguins were starting Vokoun...he played a spectacular game though |

Funny, the poll won't accept "0" as an answer. I tried repeatedly to get the poll set with "0" as an answer but it wouldn't let me.
Changed the 0 to the letter "o" -- that works. - the-mitch-wilsons
Ahhh thank you for the clarification. For the record I voted 1 anyways.... as I stated from the start Bs in 5 |

I don't know if this was discussed already, but did you guys see the tweet that said Malkin could get 15M tax free in the K
Not saying he leaves, but that's a scary thought - RickJames77
Isn't this obvious? Take any star from the NHL and they're salary doubles over there. They just have to be satisfied playing in a much lesser league against lukewarm talent in substandard facilities (by North American standards anyway). Plus...there's that flying around the country on Russian maintained aircraft issue.....no thanks.

I actually thought the Pens had it. I counted AT LEAST 5 posts they hit last night. |

Yeah scary thought indeed. I flew on Aeroflot about 5 years ago and it felt like I was getting slingshotted across the Atlantic |

The Pens have no 1st or 2nd round pick this year, and no 2nd round pick next year. Gotta think that moving Letang can help fill that void. - rival22
The haul from last year though, the additional 1st rounder and Doumolin from Carolina, make the loss of the pics this year a little easier to absorb. |

They seem to fall out of the sky a little more frequently over there. I'd say pay me 14 mil and I bring my own crew of mechanics. |

You should start with Letang... |

That could work, but I don't know if you want Kesler's injuries.

But we'd save Malkin's $9-$10 million cap hit...
oh, and pick up $14.50 mil in more salary.

That's pretty terrible. Maybe one of the worst proposals ever. Malkin and Letang/Nisk for Statsny and Johnson?????? |

at least the only question is whether or not Malkin would remain healthy enough for the Avs to benefit from the deal..... |

Plus he realizes that picks/prospects MIGHT be needed to even things out. Like say, Colorado's 1st for the next 153 years. |
