I didn't necessarily find the quality of his blog about Edmonton was bad, but it must be frustrating to not have sabres blogs. Don't you have that Kevin guy too though?

He's extremely creative when he's out there and his vision is just incredible. As talented as some of the other guys on the Hawks are, none of them come close to him when it comes to those two areas. He creates so many opportunities for his teammates because of it. The only thing I think that Toews, Hossa, and Sharp bring that he doesn't is a better defensive game.

Yet so many of the Sabres fans that post around here give Kevin all sorts of crap. Most of the time I feel it's unwarranted.

I am not trying to disparage his talent. I'm saying a winger who isn't relied on in every situation is a complimentary player. You can't win without them, but that's my definition.

I dont really think they have one single "the man". Hes a fan favorite there. See a lot of 88 jerseys in UC. I think hes equally in the spotlight with Toews, Hossa, Keith, Sharp.

It'd be tough to match his production with anyone they have or anyone available to get IMO.

He was scratched most nights before being traded. He wasn't contributing anything. He was incredibly underwhelming to say the least.

I think it's funny that Keith gets so much attention in Chicago because, IMO, Seabrook is the better Dman. Keith may be better offensively, but Seabrook is just about as solid as they come defensively.

I like Hjalmarsson as well, though he has a tendency almost once a game to make a really dumb play. Think Toni Lydman. I also harbor a bit of resentment for the hit on Pommer a few years ago. Probably because I was in the building and I've always liked Pommer. I thought his neck was broken. I thought I was going to throw up sitting there.
