I can't believe I'm saying this.. I'll probably get stuck by lighting tomorrow. But I really really really think this team would be good with TORTS...

- Francois Leroux

I absolutely believe that and I'm not afraid to admit it. He isn't afraid to bench anyone based on their play (Richards) and he always gets the best defense out of his players and I don't think the pens would have the problem the rangers ha on offense because with all do respect to gaborik or Nash they are no malkin and Crosby.

He never waived it for anybody and never gave any indication he would.

Iggy said they could trade him to Boston. They traded him to Boston. He said no after having a little chat with his buddy, Sidney (which is a violation of the CBA, by the way).

Most people will rightly see this as sweet comeuppance for him.

- Leeman4Gilmour

He had a chat? You have no clue how this entire thing unfolded. Stop thinking you do.

Iginla earned the right to do it. Same with the drama queen known as Sundin. Toronto wanted to deal his ass for something, but he only cared about himself. Did he earn the right? Sure, same with Iginla.

Again, at the time of the deal, it wasn't a hard decision when you compared which way Pittsburgh was trending as compared to Boston. Not hard champ. If the same decision was on your plate with the same destinations and you wanted to win a Cup, at the time you chose Pittsburgh. No one foresaw this coming with the way both teams were trending a month ago.

I agree with most, but Dupuis. He might want too much on the market, and hes only as good as he is because of playing with 87. Id like to see a better option.
- sammy87

I don't see Duper leaving for more money... He seems like more of a down to type earth kinda guy. Knowing that he wouldn't be anything without Crosby..

^%@%@ you Geno.

This....

Full marks to the Bruins, they played a hell of a series.

This board has good people, and it's been a fun year from lockout to this.

Now we have a few weeks to figure out who to fire, hire, trade, buyout and sign

- rival22

I need a couple of days to decompress.

Lot of good people on here I agree. Agree or disagree on topics it's usually good conversation.

Now on to ridiculous trade offers!

Luongo can play 60 games easy.... And then be fine for the playoffs... There ain't any goalies out there that are more accomplished than him, I don't care about no cups or the Canucks deficiencies, Lu was not their fault. If he is a free agent, 10 teams will be calling him, trust me
- nelson911

This. And i want to be able to yell looooouuuuuuuuuu everytime he makes a save. That seems fun

OMG, I am agreeing with Milbury that Bylsma was outcoached again. F'in Blysma you are making me agree with Milbury. I hate that, Dan. Two goals in a 7 game series with this talent, unbelievable. Can't get his team under control.Hey Ray you did what you could, not your fault. Look at coaching please?!
- powerhouse

They were completely overblowing the discipline thing. Yes they had their moments in the first 2 games but they were comparing it to the flyers series last year and we all know its no where close.

Torts is a certifiable assclown. If you think the team quit on Iron Mike....

We don't need to go full on defense. Just someone who is willing to think if he can't get to his game, it might be because the other team is doing something to prevent it.

Luongo comes to Pittsburgh, I will start booing him right after the deal. The guy has a terrible contract; is 35 and isn't good. So, why unload a regular-season goalie in Fleury and replace him with another regular-season goalie that is a step down and eight years older?

If it wasn't for vokoun, I doubt Pittsburgh would have seen the 2nd round.

Its going to be an interesting off season

He was greatly out coached. My son could out coach DB. Milbury is a wienerhead, but he was right.

Dupuis for the same price or a bit more would be an ideal 3rd liner. He did very well there with JOkes and Morrow.

That's the way the whole series went. Not one break or bounce. I honestly don't think i've ever seen anything like it.

He seemed to imply in an interview with Ron Maclean after the trade that he had spoken to Crosby beforehand.

Again, I don't know why you're getting so bent out of shape defending Iginla's honor. In the grand scheme if things, he means virtually nothing to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Has a #1 seed ever not had a lead for the whole series?
- Gunner Staal

Damn didn't even think of that.

Only way I want him is if he's bought out. Way to many years on that contract the hit isn't bad but the years what does that thing take him to 58.

He might ... you are one full of assumptions. He is very comfortable in Pittsburgh and his family loves it.

Did you see his stats when he wasn't with Sid? He could still produce. I question if you really watched him play when 87 wasn't with him.

Better option? Please give me two names.

Look, with the talent they have a sweep is inexcusable. Our coach is so nortorious for being unable to adjust yep comes back year after year. If hecomes back expect more of the same. Nice guy but not a great coach. Need more size on D and sits one of his biggest and best skaters on D. poor judgement IMO. Kudos to boston though!

Men in black suits driving a black moving van are already cleaning out Bylsma's personal belongings from hi offices at Southpointe & CEC.

Mos def the kind of performance that gets you fired.

I'm sure Crosby and Malkin would love for him to be the coach with the poop he said about them.
