And both of those goalies will require significant assets to acquire.... And those two are maybes as far as available especially Miller. Dumb dumb move for the sabres - nelson911
Alot of talk about Hiller being available. You aren't going into next year with Fast and Hiller in goal. I have no desire to see a another choke artist in next during the play-offs. Luongo is fragile when it comes time for the dance.
I don't like Mike Smith, unless Tippett and Burke come with him. |

What do you think of maybe going after mike smith? - Trilla
We have seen this moving before with Phoenix goalies. Ask Philly. Unless Tippett replaces Bylsma and brings his style and Burke along with him, I don't like Smith at all in Pittsburgh.

Hey you. Did you get Iggy's auto... never mind. Wait you said Iggy wouldn't get a first???? - whipper334
Why are you trolling Whipper? Did a Penguins fan troll you in December when the Flames were eliminated?
Just hope that Feaster doesn't (frank) up that 26th overall pick by drafting me or a dead guy.

Thoughts on resigning Craig Adams. I know he has his detractors here, but as far as a penalty killer, he is effective He might be worth a resign. |

Thanks! I'm looking at #7, #29 and #44 as possibilities. |

Well dead people don't ask for your french fries at dinner. And there is no fight with a dead guy over the last piece of pizza. |

I can't say enough about Vokoun. He gave us nothing short of a true professional performance. Doesn't get rattled. Wish he was 5 years younger. |

I would have been a better pick than that. I could at least drive myself to practice. |

He was our MVP the last three series really. He had one bad outing and those three goals in game two weren't his deal. He deserved better fate. In three losses, he game up 5 goals (2 in the OT loss to Ottawa, 2 in the double OT game to Boston and 1 tonight) and the team scored twice in those games. He gave the team a chance to win every single game. He isn't the long term answer, but he should be commended upon his performance. He was Shero's best move - free agency or at the trade deadline.
Look for a good number one in the offseason with Vukoun as the solid backup, which allows Hartzell to be groomed in the AHL for a year before he becomes the full-time backup when Vokoun's contract expires after next year. |

Don't listen to the folks that say Shero has a difficult job this summer. He has some easy choices with Letang, Fleury, Iginla, and Morrow |

- Oneonta Penguin
Actually the penguins don't have many bad contracts and the ones that are bad the player could probably be traded ala fleury some team would be more then pleased to take him. Glass' contract isn't good and I have no idea why they have him 2 years but it would suck to have to use that clause on a crappy player like him but they probably will. |
