It's funny that you don't know what you're talking about... It's only goofs on that comment on tsn who are haters that think that, it's a combination of a bad coaching gameplan and the ineffective use of roster players. Goaltending was minor this playoffs.

so right now, it's pretty much between whether bylsma keeps Bylsma and fixes the team or whether he fires bylsma and keeps most of the core of this season intact.

If bylsma is fired, I think you can keep iginla, letang, morrow, malkin, maf, etc. (if they want to stay and if the money works)

I think dupuis stays and cooke goes. if morrow takes cooke money (1.8 mil), he's fit on the 4th line. If iginla takes 4 mil or less, i'd keep him AND PUT HIM WITH CROSBY. DAMN YOU BYLSMA.

if we keep duper, bump kunitz down with malkin. if duper leaves, then either put kunitz with malkin and Bennett with sid or vice versa.

our 3rd line coud look like jokinen-sutter-bennett. if Bennett goes to the top 6, maybe look for a fa winger or look for a guy via trade. the speed on that 3rd line could be an asset.

4th line, adams is a lock. guy has done a lot right, makes the league minimum, and is a reliable and smart player 5 on 5 and on the pk. if morrow sticks around, he has that LW spot. I would look in FA for a 4th line center. could use a big body. brian boyle maybe?

if bylsma stays, I expect big changes.

4 things Pittsburgh should consider this offseason:

1. Keep Disco Dan

I do feel he is at fault for lack of adjustment, but with a bona fide goalie controversy and gutless effort from the skaters in the 1st and 3rd rounds, he should get one more post season chance.

2. Somehow get Rob Scuderi - honestly I would take a Letang for Scuderi in a heartbeat

3. Blow this team up, sort of.

This group has proven they cannot win when the game is on the line, gotta break em up. I would say trade Malkin or Letang or even both. I love the idea of Malkin and Letang for Rinne and Weber. Probably would never happen


4. Buyout Fleury - no need for explanation

The Penguins should re-sign him if it takes $6M max. I'd say it would be a no brainer. Hell, Staal was going to get that much had he stayed. Letang is very important to this team.

11 points is bad(basically 2 series)? He was one of the better performers up until the ECF and then nobody was good except for Vokoun.

He's been one of the better forwards in the league for a few years. Quietly too. If him liking the city/people for his family gives him the cause to take a slightly lower salary than that's great. We will see.
