He's still terrible at playing d though.. You can't really get around that. I hate how the league only acknowledges offensive d's nowadays. Karlsson with a Norris and letang getting a nomination. Might as well give Justin Schultz the award in a few years

This fallacy has become fact somehow. Much like karlsson bein a terrible defender.

They're both certainly offence first, but not inept in their own zone either. Letang plays tons of pk and starts in his own zone, as well as logs big minutes.

it's literally unreal.

like whenever there's an announcement or something coming and everyone has a general idea what the subject is going to be on, he ALWAYS picks the wrong one. whether it's a coach being fired or staying, whether a player is being traded or not, whether a GM is being fired or staying, etc.

he legit always picks the wrong one.

Being led to believe by who? If it's a "source" then it's clearly somebody who has NO ties whatsoever to the Oilers. Even Oiler fans were saying it's probably a coaching change. It's all just embarrassing.

I disagree about miller, us buffalonians have moved on from Miller. His rep around the league is that hes an elite goalie. Miller will bring in a first rounder and a top prospect.

The Flyers goaltending is fine...Get rid of Bryz and let S.Mason carry the load...

Mason has been good in his time in Philly, but there is a reason Columbus was glad to see the back of him. 3 years of growing pains will do that. I would not make him our starter unless we had no other choice. I like him but we need to NOT rush him.

The only way I would buyout bryz is if the (very real) possibility of grabbing a top goalie in the very wide open Buyers goalie market and signing them for less than Bryz or at the very least to a shorter contract. If we were to say sign say Backstrom that'd be nice.

You're probably dumb or never watched Letang play. He definitely can play D. You know nothing about hockey.

Really? Because the guy played plenty of PK, in a PILE of ice time, had VERY few goals scored against while he was on the ice. Second on the Pens in blocked shots. I've watched him play plenty, and he's actually pretty decent defensively, as far as I'm concerned.
