If this engaged Kane stays through out the SCF we will be enjoying the Hawks hoisting the cup.

The Bruins are going to do their best to goad the Hawks into penalties . The Hawks need to smile and skate away from every single cheap shot.

Yep. I worry about Shaw, a lot. Feel like they're going to be trying to goad him into his normal dumbass penalties.

I'm sure - I assume - I guess - I hope - that between Q, Toews and some others in the leadership, he will get some pretty good counseling about that.

Smile and walk away . That will 1/2 defeat the Bruins scheme . Play through all the non calls , dont even look or speak to officials. This will be the key to the Hawks winning.

Hawks speed and skill plus the Hawks magnificent team defense will win them this series.

For the Bruins to win the Hawks will have to be goaded into stupid penalties.

I am extra hoping the Hawks win so that Bryan Bickell , who had his name left off the Stanley Cup in 2010 gets to have his name on the Cup. In 2010 he scored a couple of big goals but didnt appear in a game vs. Phili.

Absolutely Mr. P and Bicks has to be among the top 5 candidates for the Conn Smythe. That's right....Mr. 541,000 is in rare air with his play...TOP NOTCH, despite the penalty and icing last night.

Any Bears fans: Brad Briggs on Twitter said Bears send Carimi to TB for a pick (non-conditional), waiting for details.

Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 13m
The draft pick #Bears receive will not be conditional. So, team gets something for Carimi now and he gets a fresh start elsewhere.

Brad Biggs Brad Biggs ‏@BradBiggs 13m
#Bears have traded former 1st rd pick Gabe Carimi to the Buccaneers for a draft pick. Adam Jahns first reported the move.

I was thinking today what a difference a year makes. Last year around this time.

-Hossa's future was in question after being Raffied
-Bickell and Frolik both had miserable seasons and probably could've been had for a bag of pucks
-Hammer being heavily shopped at the draft but no deal panned out.
-Hawks flirting with Brodeur on the 1st day of UFA after Crawford's lousy play vs. PHX.

What a difference a year makes.

As much as I want the Hawks to win, the Bruins remind me of the 200 Hawks. Scoring from every line, big, physical, young netminder playing lights out.

Thinking Bruins in 6, but if Hawks come to play 60 minute games, every game, Hawks in 7.

That seemed like eons ago...and he was virtually invisible against Detroit.
At $6.3 mil/year...that's not good enough, but again, nice to see him come through FINALLY. Great game last night and winner was CLASSIQUE

The fact is the Hawks have an issue at center ice and Kane should not play with Handzus.

Like I wrote today if Bolland is really back the Hawks are in much better shape...

Call me arrogant but I think this series won't be as great as many think. Hawks in 5....maybe 4.

Haha I know, that's why I was surprised people took offense to what I said, because I certainly didn't mean anybody here

Maybe it is selective hearing on my part, but it seems that many of the "pundits" are picking the Bruins (and some suggesting it might be kinda easy). I don't see it like this - I can see picking either team, but I'm wondering if we're getting a little East Coast bias like we saw in the award finalists?

Speaking of cheap shots - any word on if Greene will start next season suspended after that vicious two-handed cross-check to the face of Shaw last night? Shannascam best do right on that call.

They need to pick the team (the Bruins) that beat the team (the Pens) they all said was unbeatable. They'd look pretty silly if now all of a sudden the team mainstream media all but guaranteed the cup was at best the 3rd best team in the playoffs

How was that not a double minor? Top of Shaw's nose was bleeding... Not that our PP would do anything about it, nor does it matter now.

I'm with you.

The World is Over hyping the Bruins sweep of the Penguins.

Again, the Penguins had the worst D corps in this years playoffs. Worst goalies too.

If the Hawks skate away from dumb penalties they should win this series. The rest of the world will be "Shocked" but that's silly considering the Hawks have been the best team all year long and they have beaten Howard and Quick , the two best Goalies in the West , better goalies than Rask.

Their goalies were what some feared Crow would be. The last two games seemed like closely contested games between closely-matched teams. Those first two games, though, had some of the brown stuff going down the leg...

You don't understand...

If you accidentally lift your stick an cut someone in the face it is 4 mins...

If you crosscheck someone in his face...Let's say ...Knock a few teeth out or break his nose and there is blood it is only 2 mins.

...and if that doesn't make sense just don't apply any logic and it will.
