See STL's post 5 above your post that i quote here....Seabs is my boy, but he's gotta return Monty's clown shoes before something really bad happens. - philco28
Yep, saw it after I posted. Something is up in kitchen with him. Most likely we wont know till after the parade. |

I agree...but when it comes time to give him the paper....has he done enough to warrant the jack pot someone will give him. Like I said....it will be interesting to see how it plays out. - UnnamedSource
Agree with you. $3.5-4m will be ok. Someone throws him $4-5m then they better hope he changes in the RS. At that price, even if it costs another much needed power forward it would the roster too much later.... |

What you said plus some.
I'm still loving General Saad. He needs about 5-10 years and twice the upper body strength to be Hossa. - tredbrta
I like him as well and I think he will be a good player......whether he becomes a great player is still debatable....
Next year will be the key...there is a 70 game book on him now and teams will adjust. He needs to gradually put on some muscle over the next three years.......but all things considered it was a nice season for the rookie. |

If the Hawks give him that money and he falls back to a third liner it would be a lot of money given to a player in that slot. A lot of things to consider.....

He has flashes of brilliance..the o/t winner in G7, the big goal early on vs L.A....and he nearly won last night's game in the first o/t with a similar shot.
Thought he played very well in game 4 in L.A. and was a BEAST on the boards...but then he makes flat-footed, brain dead passes RIGHT UP THE MIDDLE in our own zone that are picked off and create needless pressure and needless stress. And if he's not doing that...he's making WEAK ARSE clearances that don't get out and then boom...we're under pressure for the next :30 to :60....

He's put together a nice rookie year, the Calder nom is nice...and he's played o.k. in the playoffs...he's got to drive the net more. His dispy doodle rushes generally never amount to much and his shot needs a lot of work. Good news..his youth allows him plenty of time to improve...but a good rookie campaign/playoff on the whole.

Not this offseason but probably in 2014 before Hammers extension kicks in and hopefully Johns being a year or two away I would expect Seabs to be moved. - UnnamedSource
7 is a big contract off the books...but would be sad to see him go. When his head is in the game for real...one of my favorite Hawks for sure.

Very true. Even without goals he has, for the most part, made solid plays this PO. He has also been very close to 2-3 major turnovers.
Making solid decisions for a rookie so far.

Yes. And that would cost them a future UFA like Hammer possibly. They need to move Seabs to Philly this OS. No place for loyalty with a hard cap. |

Here is who I think will be gone after this year....
Bolland - 99%
Emery - 80%
Frolik - 65%
Bickel - 50%
Stalberg - 50%
Sharp - 20%
Seabs -10%
Leddy -10%
Krugman - 5%
Now not all of the players will be moved but just throwing around possibilities.....my opinions.

I heard Baanerman made his vast fortune on instructional manuals for just that.
Damn! I think the dweeb left. What a jag off. Fun to smack a person so obviously deserving of a beating. Even if it is only here.

Needs to add an inside move to a strong back hand. I think he has made a few cuts to the center this PO but never saw it in the RS and everyone started funneling him outside.
Hossa could teach the young padwan much. Hope he does. |

I like Seabs but would love a move. Would immediately relieve the cap pressure for 2 years.
Flyers could really use him. That, or use him for one of those top 5 picks this year. |

Ok. I'll stop at animal molester until he gets back.
But, if he doesn't shape up, the pedophile insults ARE ON. |
