If Obama has taught me anything, its you cant fight "his"... I mean "the" governement.... anymore. - youarewrong
Yeah, that happened in the middle of the Bush regime. The one before was Clinton and before that was Reagan.

I know I'm late to the party but what are the thoughts on the Roman Josi signing? - stveshdy
My thoughts are if he was a Flyer the deal would be for 5 mil per not 4 year per. |

I wouldn't trade the 11th pick for J Bo, although I wouldn't mind him on the Flyers. - Marc D
I would if the Blues retained half his salary. |

I hate long contracts but after Suter leaving and nearly losing Weber I can see why they locked him up. A lot of term and money for a guy with one full year under his belt.
Flyers better get lucky with their draft picks and get better at developing defenseman. |

If the Flyers buy out Bryz, will Homer have any interest in Miller? |

I can't see it. Any player that's bought out becomes a possibility though. |

Yeah? Try getting the paperwork filed without a lawyer for anything above a misdemeanor. Good luck. |

I agree with this article and have this sick feeling that this is going to be one of those take a little step forward and a giant step back off seasons. I understand that the rumors that are out there are just that rumors, but if any of the proposed moves happen then they would be a mistake......only move coots or schenn if your getting a franchise number 1 and seeing that non of the players mentioned are that then stay pat until the right deal is available |

Judges and lawyers don't like it when non-lawyers do lawyerin' because then we'd all know they are full of crap instead of simply suspect it. |

that, or maybe pro se people end up making the system take even longer and be less efficient than it would otherwise because you have no idea what you're doing and it forces the courts to bend over backwards to give you more time, leniency, blah blah blah. get a lawyer. saves the taxpayers $. |

There is the right route see what players become available via buy out then make decisions. I wonder do either of the teams in the finals make huge trades that hurt there core.....Chicago had to because of cap screw up but bacause they didnt trade there farm system they were able to replace those players in a couple years, and Boston is a no |

Chicago had to give up a lot. Buff, versteeg, Neimi, Campbell... and more. It just goes to show that you CAN trade people you think is your core as long as your making smart hockey decisions. |

Our next GM needs to come from chi or bos
Both teams have win cups, survived and thrived through sticky cap or injury situations and are now playing for another cup. Theres your models folks |

Kind of like back in the early 1990's...the NBA was rising in popularity, so the NHL decided to hire a commissioner from their ranks to run the NHL...and we got two decades of Gary B Bettman |
