Myers and 3rd overall isnt worth it IMO. Drouin or Barkov are just a sliver under mckinnon in worth that its not worth trading away Myers for such a slight upgrade.

I wouldn't mind him with some extra compete players on the team. Like he would be #2 and not the #1 then i would be ok with it .Think of him and Lafontaine on the same team.

Why not ? He has been talked about as the same skill and drive as the top 5 . This is a deep draft. can't have everyone in the top 5.

I want MacKinnon bad he has been my #1 guy long before the memorial cup but if I had to predict I think Darcy will trade up to 4 with Nashville and take Barkov.

I'm a huge supporter of Shinkaruk, but we gotta go Lindholm if he's there. IMO he's got Nicklas Backstrom written all over him. I wouldn't be surprised to see Shinkaruk ending up as a Kessel, either...

That eliminates Carolina, Calgary who need help immediately, and there are players available for them to take. Edmonton isnt looking for a player like Lindholm. MacKinnon, Barkov or Monahan are their targets. So if Edmonton doesnt trade 7 away, we will get Lindholm at 8.

Ive heard great things about Barkov as well. Wish i had a more live evaluation to go on with all the players .

Speed? - I'd give it to Drouin barely, Nichushkin's a very good skater.
Skill? - Several experts have said Nichushkin has the most skill in the draft.
Size? - Obviously Nichuskin.
Physicality? - Nichuskin, but not by a crazy amount, both aren't too grindy.
Shot? - Nichushkin.
Passing? - Drouin.

I honestly wouldn't mind settling for a Nichushkin... Way cheaper than getting a top-3 pick.

Yeah but when would a move like this take place? The organization wouldn't do something like that right before the draft.
