It's all fun, plenty to like for this draft. - ob18
What makes it terrific is that it's a good draft year, talent-wise, and the Flyers have the 11th pick.
The possibilities are endless. |

Not just with round 1, I think they have a chance to grab solid players into round 3 if not even later.
It's why I stay at #11 or even try to slide back and gain more picks. |

I've been reading into Pulock a bit more lately.
Subban without as much of the physicality sound about right? |

No I think Pulock has a decent physical aspect, I think Subban is pushed around a bit and struggles at time due to his lack of size. |

Apparently Calgary offered up their 3 first round picks to get the 1st overall.
Colorado said no. |

Cody Nickolet @WHLFromAbove
Elliotte Friedman says he doesn't foresee any movement in the top 4 picks of the NHL Draft. He speculates Carolina would move the 5th pick. |

Pulock also has more hockey sense than Subban, if not the physical tools that Pernell has. |

Stand pat or trade back a few to add additional picks. |

So basically pulock has it all over the newly crowned Norris winner. |

No, not at all. Pulock has really exceptional hockey smarts. He's also got a great shot and has shown the ability to be a more effective physical player than Subban did.
But Subban has the edge in everything else. Better skater, athlete, passer, agitator, pure hockey skill.
Honestly, Pulock's ceiling is probably Al MacInnis. I'd take Subban over that. |

Ummm we are talking about the youngest Subban by the name of Jordan. - ob18
I thought you were talking about PK, too...when it comes to the youngest Subban, yes, Pulock is a superior prospect, nto even close. |

I wasn't talking about PK, I was talking about Jordan since the topic was the draft. |

Aportzline: #CBJ coach Todd Richards said #Flyers coach Peter Laviolette sought him out at last year's draft after trade for Bobrovsky was completed.”
Aportzline: "This guy will push your team. You're going to really like this kid," Laviolette told Richards. "Gotta say, he nailed it right on the head."”
Well, sure sounds like Lavi had it in for Bob. |

Probably shouldn't have demoted him from starting goalie to press box attendant after one bad playoff period when he was a rookie, which is kind of what started the whole process of signing Bryzgalov. |

I'd highlight the "gotta have" guys. If one is on the board, grab him. If not, start picking up the phones. |
