B/c Nelson was last pick in 1st round of same draft as Nino and he already better than him.
Nelson plays two way game and comes from Great pedigree of Hockey.
We are depth at foward is my point. If i could keep Nino i would but if i get a good return for him im open.
Do you think Nino is worth losing KO, Bailey, Cizikis, Grabner, Strome, Ullstrom or Even this kid Sundstrom that improved alot in bridgeport?
My point is you cant live in a fantasy world where you dont have to trade anything to get as superstar. If Isles want Bernier, its going to cost something. - Spartiarti
Nino has a much more elite shot than Nelson, With Nelson you have a 2nd C. With Nino on JT wing you may have a Neal to a Malkin, JT needs someone who can snipe on his wing. Except Nino will hit, is tougher, most likely will play better in the dirty areas. |

Ha! Hilarious -- I don't mind talking hockey all day in a message board. People are quoting me and asking questions, giving as good as they get. I'm not calling anyone horrible names or anything of the sort, and this is the most posts an Islanders thread has had in...I don't know how long.
So what's the problem? Talking hockey on a hockey board isn't what the purpose of these forums are for?
Seems to me that you're cool when people rip other teams...but not so cool when fans of other teams respond?
Good to know. - AllInForFlyers

Saying you're not insulting then being insulting in the same sentence. Interesting. What else do you have? |

Anders Nilsson will be the real deal & he only needs a season or 2 in bridgeport. We dont need to trade 2 ultra valuable trade chips for a 2 years stop gap, we can jjust sign Nabby for that and cost us nothing in picks or prospects. Yes Nino might not turn into what we all hope, but Burnier might just as well cr@p the bed on the Island as a starter too.
XxNYIxX - XxNYIxX
And Anders Nilsson may not be the real deal. These are all assumptions and projections. If Snow believes in Nilsson or Poulin (or Koskinen), then he shouldn't trade for Bernier. If he doesn't believe in them, he should make the trade. With the core of this team young and coming into its own, they need a starting caliber goaltender to compliment them that isn't on the back nine of his career. |

That also has to do with the fact that she posts one every 6 frankin hours as well. |

Danny Briere doesn't fit on the Flyers' top six anymore. That's simply the way the Flyers' roster is constructed for the 2013-14 season -- he was getting bought out, no matter who they acquired. It happens -- Jarome Iginla maybe won't be back in Pittsburgh, because the fit doesn't appear to be there.
That doesn't mean that Mark Streit isn't a better fit for what the Flyers need for their defense corps -- It's clear for anyone who watches the team that Streit fits a need there! - AllInForFlyers
hey.. if you say so!
good luck with that!

just because Nelson has been called up before Nino does not make him better then nino.. it just means we needed a bottom 6 player in the line up.
Nelson is not better then Nino.. at anything. (well maybe faceoffs)

When people ask "why are you still here?", that's rhetorical, meaning they aren't looking for a response.
Everyone gets it, you like the signing. Streit is exactly what you need. The Islander fans are very happy you got their post count up I'm sure. That's what it's all about.
And I never said you were calling anyone names or anything. It just seems like maybe this discussion has run it's course. Wouldn't you agree?
The cool when people rip teams stuff, I have no idea what that means but let me make this very clear.
That doesn't mean I want you to explain it to me.
