The Flyers addressed THEIR needs. For a fourth-round pick and a contract they have to pay.

That's what franchises and GMs are SUPPOSED TO DO -- assess their needs and fill them!

For instance: You guys might or might not sign Evgeni Nabokov. You'll do it or not, or acquire another goalie or not, based on what your GM identifies as the best fit for what you're trying to do!

Nobody else might not want Evgeni Nabokov. But he might fit what the Islanders need, perfectly!

up in the air on him. I think he was great value at 1mm we paid him and he actually did give us that Veteran need we always make the mistake of signing the wrong players. (Rolston and Reasoner)


However is he a 1st line? No. Would i sign him to another 1 year deal? Possibly. Unlike many here I think he brought way more to the table this year than Moulson in 2nd half of season and playoffs.
