If teams want to emulate the Bruins, they'll have to understand that depth is more important than having two superstars centers and one elite offensive defenseman surrounded with AHLers and hasbeens acquired at the trade deadline
- _nay_

well much like the devils still had the powerhouse offenses who could oppose them (Avs, Wings), the Pens the Hawks and The Kings will still be there too, but its alot easier for the teams that dont have those superstars to build a similar style of Defensive system as the Bs have, or at least less expensive so the rest of the teams will start emulating

i hope not though, one dead puck era was enough

The Bruins aren't nearly as boring as the Devils were 10 to 15 years ago.

Ya I don't really see the Bruins "style" as being boring, considering they have a comically long nosed midget punching twins between the whistles

Oh, there are countless reasons to hate the Bruins, but being boring isn't one of them IMO.

Yeah, but they aren't contenders anymore, so it's kinda irrelevant.

Best hockey style ever !

I hope all the teams in the league try and copy their style for the next decade or so.
