we won't sign Briere. i'm not worried about that. i don't see MB wanting an old, small forward. Lecavalier on the other hand i can see him targeting (if bought out). but i assume he would not want to come here.

It'd be nice but we know he doesn't want to come to Montreal.
It would give MB permission to deal token french guy and quite possibly Plek though I still think Plek is highly underrated as a 2-way guy who vanishes in the playoffs

I would love to see our 3 centers as Lecavalier, PLek and Galch. ( in no order)
Vinnie and Plek would eventually give more ice time to the kid while still giving the team some offense and solid 2 way playing.
I wish for Plek to end his career in mtl. He's gonna slow down and propably be a perfect 3rd line player down the road. |
