I would have no problem with moving both mez and coburn....I dont value either of them as top 4 guys....coburn has his moments but the money they have invested in this bad defense needs to resolved for this team to move forward

I want to throw a complete opinion question out there.....which blackhawks team is better 2010 team that beat us or this one?.....I say 2010, but what does everybody else think?

Freidman just said Coots will not be part of any deal if they were to make one for Bernier but the Kings think the Flyers would have a package they'd like more then other teams.

I completely agree. I could careless about the same question "who replaces them"? Find players who can play your style and it wont matter.

They both want the #1 job it might lead to more locker room issues if the one who doesn't get it isn't happy. Of course I could be wrong and nothing could happen.

they were Jr teammates and apparently got along well. this is not an endorsement on my part, but i can tell you that they'd really have to believe in bernier to part w/ read + whatever and then buyout bryz.

they have to nail this w/ either mason or esp bernier. gotta put this goalie crap to bed.

About as unscientific as it gets, but I have a friend that's a Hawks fan and he says he liked the 2010 team better.

Whether that's the better team or not, who knows? I think that team was as deep, forward wise, as this one.

What do we know about Jonathan Bernier? Maybe he's the answer. Maybe he's not. I know it takes more than a great goalie.

What the Flyers need is better team D and goaltending commensurate with the money they invest in the position. They've gotten neither recently.

See the way I would go with about the Bernier situation is offer them your package if they balk at it then wait to throw an offer sheet. It seems that articles view the kings in a position of strength I dont see it that way cause if he gets to RFA an offer sheet should get him. The kings arent paying there backup goalie 3.85 million...They need to rush so put them under stress
