On another topic I found it interesting that when Bergeron went down last night they put Soderberg, with his 6 NHL games of experience, on the top line and left Seguin on the third line.

Kind of strange for a future hall of famer we had to give up to get a top 10 in the league scorer.

its the only thing that makes sense. say we bring in bernier, have to pay him at least 3 mil to sign with us. if he doesnt win the starting job, and reimer brings us to the playoffs again, reimer is an rfa at the end of the season. if we are paying bernier 3 mil to not play, we would have to pay reimer 5 mil, meaning our cap hit from goalies alone would be 8 mil+, just isn't a logical situation
