At the very least, I'd like to improve our team in free agency by spending 5 million dollars rather than giving up trade pieces. And we might disagree, but I'd rather spend 5-6 million on 2 huge less offensive, tough players and I think that would help us out just as much if not more.

For the cost to acquire Lucic, the better question is would the oilers be better off with Pietrangelo or Lucic, and the answer is so evident it's silly.
