I'd say 37 is a bit high for Jarry. We could pick up a better player and still have the 50th pick available for either Jarry or Comrie.

Different players. Hartman has an almost can't miss level as a 3rd line grinder/scorer which is a major strength in his favour, Compher has the mix of skill and work ethic to be a 2nd...maybe even first line centre (not a top-end one, but a Krejci/Zajac/Mike Richards/Pavelski kind of level).

I can live with that, he's who I believe to be the ideal centre between Kessel and JVR.

I would love for the Avs to draft a Dman in the early second who they can let develop and find they game for a few years. Especially with the given success of current Dmen drafted in the 2nd round today.
