We were 2 wins awa from the cup. We need guys who can fiinish like Shane Doan and Joe Pavelski, not Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser

So much for the "King's ransom" that Chairelli said would be the price for Seguin

Even if we're able to get "Alfie" for a season before he's eligible for AARP, this deal still sucks.

Seguin is going to explode offensively in Dallas, and he's only 21.

We just got older and more diluted as a team.

I need to check out the prospects...don't know a ton about them

Wouldn't have done it, but don't hate it. Love Eriksson, he's a legit 30 goal scorer, natural winger, and plays solid in both ends. Will be a solid B. Joe Morrow is a legit high end d prospect. Other 2 are NHL ready mid 6 guys, both wingers where we're shallow. Add in the gained cap space. If we sign Alfie now on top of this, we're better than we were IMO
