Good for Andy, glad he gets to go home. That's a female dog of a contract for the Oil though.

$5.5M for Alfie including bonuses ... I'm ok with him not being here for that.

I'm gonna (frank)ing puke.

We got older, less talent ceiling, and more 3rd line talent ...

Just what we (frank)ing needed

Could have and should have just dumped Peverley somewhere.

(frank)ing gross

- JS2012

Doubtful anyone would take Peverley without other key pieces in a trade...I guess kudos to Chia trading a contract vs having to do a buyout...

I wish this trade was done done prior to the playoffs...Erikkson would have have contributed more than Seguin and could have been a difference maker in the finals...

@TSNBobMcKenzie: Nathan Horton's deal with CBJ is 7 years, $37.1 ($5.3 AAV) but he gets $30M in first 5 years.

glad we had another lockout.

I have the same feeling about UFA signings as I do when the government spends money

Wait until they introduce the Obama card. It's a new credit card aimed at helping welfare recipients build up credit (kidding but it's plausible given his track record)

Meh, lose Grabo and MacArthur, Add Bolland Clarkson. Tougher, but not a whole lot more potent. D is still a mess. Goaltending may be questionable still too, Bernier is a long ways from a sure thing.

Averages 32 points per 82 games over his career. $5.25M for 30 points a year.

Think TSN said NJ was the other suitor. Not sure Lou would shell out huge $ for him, but who knows.
