Think I'm going to take the Old Man to the CGY game. He's a Flames fan so with the return of Iggy and all should be a good one. - Double_A
poop yeah that would be a cool game to see. Work permitting id like to see both. Want to experience wearing an opponents jersey on the LRT in Edmonton. |

lol went to a Oilers/Ducks game this past season. Ducks dominated the entire game. The fans stayed for the even split draw and then poured out of the building with 15 minutes left in the third. |

Named after glen metropolit? |

Were you able to watch him at all in Providence last year? From what I read, sounded like he chugged balls most of the year but started to come on pretty strong at the end of the season and into playoffs? - Double_A
Pretty much ...
But by "come on pretty strong", it was pretty much like he just started skating and caring again.
He's definitely got one foot out the door right now, but there's a spot that's his to lose. This is his last chance to prove he deserves it. |

Love that it's the Leafs organization that's most vocal about the irrelevance of advanced stats considering they just happen to be the exception to the rule. It'll be interesting to see how they do this season, #'s indicate they're due for a BIG regression. Unsustainable shooting %ages and lopsided puck possession is gonna catch up over a larger sample.
Of course it's always possible that they have the most precise shooting group of players in the history of the game and they can survive playing 3/4 of the game in their own end |

Rider fans are the best. Was at a Eskies/Argos game last year and there was a whole section of Riders fans decked out in jerseys and face paint yelling "Rider Pride" |

1 real nice play for about 35 yards, just undressed his man on a slant. Only 2 catches though. Running lots of 2 TE sets so he didn't see the field a ton. |
