No he's not... - JS2012
He should. He's going to take a lot of seasoning. Goalies generally don't enter their prime until they are 25 anyway so I'm not too worried about it. |

He's got nothing left to gain from Belleville ... He's stuck somewhere between being a good junior goalie and being way too green for the AHL. That's why I think he should go to the South Carolina Stingrays in the ECHL for a season.
His game is a (frank)ing horror show at the professional level ...

Subban possesses ZERO talent at this point at the AHL level. They'd be better off sticking a shooter tutor between the pipes.
Some kids from junior come in and look a little slow or lost at first, but you can see glimpses of their talent while they work through it ... I see ZERO talent in Subban's technique and game. It's somewhat disheartening. I remember when a young Hannu Toivonnen first came to Providence ... Guy was leaps and bounds ahead of where Subban is at this point, and we all know how that turned out.
Subban is one of the worst looking goalies (at this point) I have ever see play at the AHL level. Playing backup to Svedberg isn't going to help him. Kid needs reps right now at a lower level than the AHL but a higher level than junior. Ship him down to SC.

I don't understand the rush to make him a pro. He hasn't been a goalie for all that long. an extra year of junior could have helped in his development. he'd be playing almost every game and developing physically. sitting on the bench or Facing prospects, cap casualties, and has-beens....and not doing well against them is bugging me. Proceed with caution....another Chiarelli 1st round draft pick. That alone should give us all pause. |

No (frank)ing idea why Chiarelli wanted this kid ...
I was literally scratching my head trying to see one positive while watching the games, besides athleticism, to justify the pick. So far, I see nothing. Hell, the kid didn't even start playing goalie until he was 12, only 7 (frank)ing years ago !!! And it shows !!
Hated the pick then and I hate it even more now.

Yeah the 1PM crap is killing me ... Would be great if I were unemployed like everyone else around here
Looking forward to you guys on the mainland turning the clocks ahead ... Games will start at 2PM instead of 1 ... I may actually be able to catch the 3rd period.
Been recording a lot of the games and watching when I get home ... Not as fun, obviously, but I take what I can get.
By the way, Busher, the State is doing a "H1 Improvement Project" to try and alleviate the traffic on the highway by adding another lane ... In doing so, they've managed to (frank) it up right now worse than it already was
