with no past history you knew it would be 10 or less
i think the jo healy said it best, you can't penalize him for having no skill

if he was a repeat offender 10+
i also thought the guy who hit penner should have gotten 10+
no idea what his history was..

Would have liked to see 10. Nice even number ...

20+ if it were a second offense.

They looked great in the last 2 minutes when they were desperate ...

Need to play like that all the time

Spooner sent back to Providence

2 points in 2 games. Doubled Caron's output for the season in just two games ....

Eriksson must be ready to come back on Tuesday ... Can't think of any other reason for the move. Spooner is a numbers casualty right now.

With Smith putting up decent numbers, Kelly having a bounce-back year, and the Yeti getting a seemingly "guaranteed" spot to show what he's got, there's no room for Spooner right now.

The one thing that's clear is that Caron needs to go ... He's again been lapped on the depth charts.

I'm surprised by this....I would have thought Erikkson is still a ways away from being back...but maybe not...

I think Smith has not done as well lately...I would like to se him on 3rd line and move yeti up...Bergy..Marchand and Yeti...Kelly with spooner and Smith...

Just don't see Caron being better than Spooner...Kelly can play wing and still take face offs...

Yeah I don't see them sitting Spooner in favor of Caron ... So Eriksson must be ready to come back on Tuesday.

Eriksson has three points in 8 games. Seguin has 14 points in 13 games.

He hasn't had contact in practice yet which has to happen first...I think Tuesday is going to be too early but will see..I would think later in the week..

I thought Eriksson was getting better and used to Bergy when the injury happened...see what happens....

Spooner's the only forward that doesn't have to clear waivers I'm pretty sure. Just asset management.

Perhaps, but if Eriksson is ready why wouldn't they just keep a 3rd line of Kelly spooner and smith/Marchand and keep Caron in the AHL...unless it is some cap thing...is Caron a one way contract?

He'd need to clear waivers, plus they'd have to scratch Smith or Soderberg as well when Loui was healthy, they might not have cap space to carry the extra man on the roster.

Smith back with Kelly/Yeti today at practice which will be good to see if they can rekindle their pre-season chemistry.

I like Spooner, but I don't have a big problem with him going back down and I think at this point you want him playing games as he's really close to being an NHL regular, don't think this hurts him at all development wise.

Haggs well-timed hatchet piece on Seguin ... right on time http://www.csnne.com/blog...ishing-under-stars-system

Makes some good points, but I hate when this sh!t comes out after the fact, makes it seem so petty.

Interesting article...not sure why he thinks Seguin turned it around in the finals last year though...if that was the case he might still be here if Bruins felt that way too...

If harvard likes Joe Morrow and thinks he's going to be a top 4 then I'm inclined to listen to him. He does really well in picking up young D (Krug/Boychuck/Bart)

Little steep, Eberle has an ugly contract too. There is no end to me Eberle man love though, so I'd do it

Don't think so...I like Eberle a lot, but if Seguin doesn't fit in here as an offensive guy not sure Eberle would either...as DoubleA said, contract is ugly...$6million per for next 6 seasons..

Is this something you are hearing or just a bored Monday?
